Chef Duc opened Le Duc Gourmet Bakery in 2000 with the goal of producing high quality French pastries with passion and care. Before arriving to Houston with his wife, Loanne, and his three children in 1990, Chef Duc received his education in the art of French baking in Montreal. He was trained at the prestigious hotels and resorts in Montreal and Toronto.
In Houston, he worked as a pastry chef at the Doubletree Hotel in the Galleria area and opened his first bakery Frances Delice in 1996. His diverse background and experiences as a chef and business owner have given him a versatile skill set and the ability to create beautifully crafted specialty cakes for any occasion. Chef Duc has also created countless relationships in an industry and has been trusted to handle catering or wholesale orders for events of all sizes with precision.
